Rebuilding in Pinsk
Bais Aharon Shul
The Beis Aharon Shul was once the center of the Karliner Chassidus. This Shul was user by the founder of Karliner Chassidus - the Beis Aharon himself.
In 1990 Rabbi Yochonon Berman came to Pinsk and worked tirelessly to redevelop and reconstruct the ruins of this beautiful synagogue. After many months of hard work, the Shul was restored to its former glory.
The shul is now in constant use. Besides for the three daily minyonim the Shul is also used by the school, the yeshiva and the community. From learning programs to chasunas, the Beis Aharon Shul is once again the center of community life in Pinsk.
Yeshiva Building
The Pe'er Yisroel Yeshiva building was once a small beis Hamedrash. This building was used by the Beis Aharon as his Synagogue prior to the construction of the main Beis Aharon Shul.
This building was recently purchased by the community to house the flourishing Pe'er Yisroel yeshiva. At the same time, an adjacent building was acquired to refurbish as a Yeshiva Dormitory.
Both buildings are in process of reconstruction and refurbishment.
Mikva
The Pinsk Mikva was built in 2006 as the only Mikva in Belarus within a radius of 800km. Based on Belova Street, the Mikva is in constant use by Jews from all over the country.
