Yad Yisroel

6 Brisim in 8 Hours

It was amazing to witness the Mesiras Nefesh of 5 students of our school ages 7 to 14 for the Mitzvah of Bris Milah, and heartwarming to see each one choose their Jewish name.
Nachman Kuchkarov from Stari Doroga, Yehuda Kuchkarov from Stari Doroga, Gedalya Rudenko from Pinsk, Avrohom Elimelech Bliznikovich from Pinsk, Aharon Yaakov Romanyuk who is an orphan from Gommel.
Yaakov Zhuravlov, a member of the Pinsk community, made Bris Milah for his 4 month old baby and named him Osher.
We wish them all a heartfelt Mazal Tov and wish them much Hatzlacha as they grow to be Torah true Jews in every sense.

Every boy has his own special story about how he came to Yiddishkeit, and as they continue to learn Torah and Mitzvohs they all stood together proudly to perform this fundamental Mitzvah. Bringing a Mohel at times like these is not easy, but it is no different than the care our students receive in all aspects of life whether physical or spiritual, BS”D we stand ready to do what needs to be done. We wish them all continued Hatzlacha in growing to be proud members of Klal Yisroel!

We are constantly working on ways to improve and to see how many more children we can help to get closer to Toras Yisroel and Mesoras Yisroel. Over the coming dark and cold winter nights our staff will be visiting many houses around the country, sharing and bringing the warmth of Yiddishkeit.
