Less than one week after the final shift of our summer camps, the new school year began with renewed enthusiasm. Despite the huge difficulties with Covid which still exist in a much more serious format, as well as political unrest in the country, our dedicated staff worked overtime to ensure a smooth opening, and we look forward to a year of Hatzlacha for all.
Being that Rosh Hashanah began less than one week after the beginning of the school year we were faced with the challenge of how to introduce new students to so many new concepts in Yiddishkeit. All the Yomim Tovim with its Mitzvohs and Minhagim were totally foreign to them. Boys and girls age 12, 13, 14 – saw and heard Shofar for the first time!
