More than 300 participants came from all over North America to spend a Shabbos of Chizuk together. Yad Yisroel alumni and their families, as well as some of our dedicated volunteers came from NY, NJ, Florida, Texas, Las Vegas, Minneapolis, Toronto, Philadelphia, and others.
You were able to feel the family-like atmosphere throughout the weekend, and it was a tremendous inspiration for all the attendees.
Students who originated from Ukraine and Belarus, many from dysfunctional or single parented homes, came with beautiful families where children are getting a good education some already in high schools and beyond.
Many sessions were given on parenting, coping with various problems like addictions, social skills, finances and the like.
Families were able to consult with our veteran educators and coaches, and received advice on various day to day issues.
It was an especially beautiful sight to see a full room of fathers learning with their children, and hear the Kol Torah, during the Avos Ubonim program on Motzoei Shabbos!
One of the highlights, as always was the grand Melaveh Malka with music and dancing. Everyone came away uplifted, inspired, with a renewed sense of direction going forward
